McGINNIS rites to be Tuesday

Services for Martha S. McGINNIS, 76, Fairfield, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Behner Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Vaughan will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. McGINNIS died at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Jefferson County Hospital.

She and her husband had farmed in the Stockport Area since 1951 and moved to Fairfield in 1973. She had worked 19 years in Food Service for the Henry County Mental Health Facility; also seven years in the Dietary Food Service at Parsons College, Henry County Care Center and Jefferson County Hospital. She had been a member of Order of Eastern Star in Stockport.

Martha S. McGINNIS was born April 8, 1908. In Heilbronn, Germany. She was the daughter of Karl and Elizabeth WEISS SEILER. She was married to Wilbur E. McGINNIS Oct. 23, 1945, in Peoria, Ill. He survives. The family home is at 1205 S. Fifth.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. McGINNIS is survived by a son, William E. McGINNIS, Middletown; two granddaughters, also three sisters and a brother all living in Germany.
