V. Kipp CRANE

V. Kipp CRANE, 44, of River Ridge, La., died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 1991, when his motorcycle hit a guard rail in New Orleans.

He was born Aug. 31, 1946, in Henry County, the son of Vincent and Lorraine PITZER CRANE. He married Sharon FOSTER and she survives.

Crane graduated from Fairfield High School in 1964 and from Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant. He had lived in River Ridge for the past eight years and was a bio-medical electronic technician at Tulane University Hospital.

Surviving are his mother of Alpharetta, Ga.; two sons, Scott and Ryan; and two brothers, Calvin L. CRANE of Alpharetta and Curtiss S. CRANE of Mount Pleasant. He was preceded in death by his father.

The graveside service will beheld at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lockridge Cemetery, the Rev. John W. Meyer officiating. Family visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Behner Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to the CRANE family.
