ANAHEIM, Calif. - Former Fairfield, Iowa, resident Avon ANGSTEAD, 75, died at her home on Thursday, June 27, 1991, in Anaheim.
She was born March 12, 1916, to Anthony Wayne and Georgia BOYCE of Fairfield. She married Richard ANGSTEAD. ANGSTEAD and her family left Fairfield for California in the fall of 1960.
While a resident of Fairfield, ANGSTEAD worked at J.C. Penney Co. and Fairfield Glove.
Surviving are one son, James ANGSTEAD, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of Anaheim; and two brothers, Stanley BOYCE of Camdenton, Mo., and Glen BOYCE of Fairfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Judy GUIDI; and her parents.
The funeral service was today in Brea.
