Esther HOLLANDER dies

Esther M. HOLLANDER, 69, 1303 South D St., died Friday at 9:45 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital. She was admitted to the hospital Friday afternoon.

Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. HOLLANDER was born June 18, 1910 at Stockport, the daughter of Alfred and Effie BONNETT FICKEL. She was reared and education in Jefferson County and attended Parsons College.

She was married to Hubert R. HOLLANDER Nov. 26, 1930 at Hamilton, Ill. Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Judy TOWNE, Fairfield; and four brothers, John FICKEL, Fairfield; Earl FICKEL, Indianola; Irwin FICKEL, Ames; and Elvin FICKEL, Des Moines.

Before retirement, Mrs. HOLLANDER was a teller at the First National Bank for 18 years. She was a member of Chapter E. TTT.
