Stanley McCLEARY

BATAVIA - Stanley Ray McCLEARY, 61, of California and formerly of Batavia died Dec. 20, 1995, at his home in South Gale, Calif.

He was born Jan. 24, 1934, in Davis County near Floris to Ray and Ocie LONGERBONE McCLEARY.

He served aboard the USS Spangler in the Korean Conflict. He spent the last 40 years in California.

He is survived by two sisters, Betty PUMPHRY of Hedrick and Alice THOMSEN of Mechanicsville; and four brothers, Harley of Grand Junction, Colo., Harvey, Tom and David of Batavia.

The body was cremated.

A memorial service will be held today in California and graveside services will be held at a later date in Batavia.

Biby and Belyear Mortuary in South Gate, Calif., is in charge of arrangements.
