Nellie QUILLEN dies at 94

Nellie C. QUILLEN, 94, native of Jefferson County, died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Nelson Nursing Home.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Kincaid officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church.

Nellie C. QUILLEN was born March 21, 1890, in Jefferson County. She was the daughter of James and Mary Ann BELL DAVIDSON. Mrs. QUILLEN spent most of her life in Jefferson County and she was employed as a nurses aide at the Jefferson County Hospital for a number of years.

She was united in marriage to Martin Luther QUILLEN who preceded her in death Jan. 15, 1950. She was the last of her family of seven children, and she was a member of the Christian Church.

Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews.
