Juanita M. BELL

Juanita M. BELL, 72, of Milton, died at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Kavanagh House in Des Moines.

The body will be cremated.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Juanita M. BELL, 72, of Milton, died at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Kavanagh House in Des Moines.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. May 3 at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with the Rev. Kevin Mote officiating. Private burial of cremains will be at a later date in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Visitation opens at 8 a.m. May 3, with the family present 10-11 a.m., prior to the service.

Memorials to Russell-Strait Post No. 483, American Legion or Milton Christian Church may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 2305 151st Court, Winterset 50273.

Mrs. BELL was born Nov. 25, 1940, in Mediapolis the daughter of Alva W. and Anna HILL BLACK. She married Clifford G. BELL Jan. 28, 1961, in Davenport. He died Nov. 27, 2011.

She graduated from Mediapolis High School and was a homemaker.

She and her husband moved to Milton in 1973.

Survivors include one son, Michael BELL and spouse Myleen of Winterset; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Kenneth BLACK of Burlington.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Kimberly WALKER; and two brothers, Alva Jr. and Robert BLACK.
