Clifford G. BELL, 76, of Milton died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Clifford G. BELL

Clifford G. BELL, 76, of Milton, died Sunday, Nov, 27, 2011, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Justin DeVries officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Open visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, where family will be present 10-11 a.m.

Memorials to American Legion Russell-Strait Post No. 483 of Milton or Milton Christian Church may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at P.O. Box 23, Milton 52570.

Mr. BELL was born June 24, 1935, in Columbus Junction, the son of Leland and Mary BLACK BELL. He married Juanita M. BLACK Jan. 28, 1961, in Davenport.

Mr. BELL graduated from Columbus Junction High School. He lived in the Des Moines area and then moved to Milton in 1973. He was a road construction foreman for E. M. Duesenberg Construction Co. for 23 years and for several other construction companies. He retired from Dave Schmidt Construction Co. in 2001.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Michael BELL and wife Myleen of Des Moines; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one sister, Elaine PETERS of Davenport.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Kimberly WALKER.
