Thelma Marie ECKWALL

Thelma Marie ECKWALL, 73, of 2852 193rd Blvd., Fairfield, died at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Marvin Robeck officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Family visitation will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family.

Mrs. ECKWALL was born Feb. 8, 1928, in Germanville, the daughter of Lloyd and Marie ARMSTRONG BEKEL. She married Milo ECKWALL in August 1946 in Germanville.

She lived all her life in the Fairfield area, graduating from Fairfield High School in 1946. She was a homemaker, whose hobbies included making quilts, crocheting and gardening.

Mrs. Hawk (?? error) was a member of First Lutheran Church in Fairfield.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Gary and Wayne ECKWALL, both of Fairfield; one daughter, Charlotte STIVERS of Mundelein, Ill.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Lenard BEKEL of Fairfield; and a twin sister, Velma KELLER of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and twin great-grandsons.
