Dolores L. DAVIS

Dolores L. DAVIS, age 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Grace Funeral Care in Batavia, with Pastor Jena Manchester officiating. Burial will follow at the Batavia Cemetery.

Dolores was born in Fairfield, IA on September 3, 1930 to Frank "Curly" HOWARD and Dorothy ULIN. A longtime resident of the Batavia area, Dolores attended Batavia Grade School and High School. As an adult, Dolores loved to travel, visit new places and she never met a stranger. Beyond living in Iowa, she resided in Alabama, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, and Minnesota.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Clell "Dutch" HUFFMAN, and her husband Russell DAVIS.

She is survived by her brother Frank HOWARD Jr. of Ottumwa, IA; five sons, Rev. William HUFFMAN of Auburn, AL, Steven HUFFMAN of Batavia, Robert HUFFMAN of Batavia, Dr. Charles HUFFMAN of Americus, GA, and David HUFFMAN of Osage Beach, MO; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other family members.
