October 11, 1977Mary BOOTH Dies At 93
Mary S. BOOTH, 93, Fairfield Route 4, died today at 4 a.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient since Sept. 1.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating. The family will receive friends at the Raymond Funeral Home Wednesday from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
Mrs. BOOTH was a lifetime resident of Jefferson County. She was born Jan. 1, 1884, the daughter of John C. and Jennie DOUGLAS KOONTZ. She was married to Frank BOOTH was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Philathea Class and the Maple Leaf Club.
Surviving are four children, William BOOTH, Carl BOOTH, Marie MILLER and Maxine ANSTEAD (sp - ANGSTEAD), all of Fairfield; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
One brother preceded her in death.
