BOOT Rites On Friday

Funeral services will be Friday for Mrs. Olive LOONEY BOOT, 91, who died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson County Hospital. She had been seriously ill for three weeks.

The rites Friday will be at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ross E. Winner officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Olive LOONEY BOOT was born Aug. 6, 1881 in Washington County, the daughter of Willis and Mary CALDWELL WAGNER. She was married to William R. LOONEY, Sr., March 20, 1901. He died June 29, 1953 (sic - 1927).

Her marriage to Charles H. BOOT took place Nov. 25, 1936. He preceded his wife in death Sept. 23, 1953.

Mrs. BOOT had made her home in the Fairfield Community for over 50 years. Her home was at 306 1/2 W. Washington, and she was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters and one son, Mrs. Helen PETERSON, Davenport; Mrs. Edith LAWSON, Fairfield; and William R. LOONEY, Jr., Aberdeen, S. D. Other survivors include three grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Mrs. Lulu KEPHART, Washington.

Mrs. BOOT was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
