Rites Set For Mrs. PICKERING

BRIGHTON - Arminda Frances PICKERING, longtime resident of the Brighton and Pleasant Plain Community, died at 2:30 a.m. today at the Washington County Hospital in Washington.

Services will be Wednesday a 2 p.m. at the First Church of God in Brighton with the Rev. Hobert Coberly officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Church. The body is at the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton.

Arminda Frances PICKERING was the daughter of Ogden and Arminda COOP LAMBIRT. Her marriage to Jesse L. PICKERING took place Dec. 25, 1912, at Fairfield.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Albert HANSHAW and a son, Cloyce PICERKING, both of Pleasant Plain; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. PICKERING was a longtime member of the First Church of God in Brighton and served as pianist at the church for a number of years.
