Doris I. GLOVER

Doris I. GLOVER 91, of Mount Pleasant died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at the Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant.

A funeral is at 10 a.m. Saturday at Murphy Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant with the Rev. Earl Swigart officiating. Burial will be in Forst Home Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.

Visitation opens at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with family present from 5-7 p.m.

A memorial has been established in her memory.

Mrs. GLOVER was born Feb. 12, 1922, in rural Henry County, the daughter of Glen and Anna Pearl MOXLEY HAINES. She married Keith E. GLOVER Aug. 2, 1942, in Kahoka, Mo. He died Jan. 1, 1988.

She graduated from Winfield High School in the class of 1940.

She was a homemaker and had worked at Harrison Drugstore in Mount Pleasant.

She was a member of the Salem American Legion Auxiliary, Questers and Congregational Church of Mount Pleasant.

Survivors include three sons, Dennis GLOVER and spouse Liz of Lockridge, Gary GLOVER and spouse Vicki of Keosauqua and Gene GLOVER and spouse Jenny of Salem; eight grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 24 step great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Don HAINES of Mount Pleasant; one sister, Erma McCORMICK of Fairfield; and her special friend Dale Green of Mount Pleasant.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, and four brothers, Raymond, Bill, Kenny and Dean.
