Mary S. EVANS, 76, 203 W. Washington, died Friday at 11:50 a.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital.
The service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Robert P. Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Lower Richwoods Cemetery.
The daughter of George G. and Mabel DROZ EVANS, she was born May 5, 1905 in Van Buren County.
She lived most of her life in Jefferson County. With her mother, she operated a laundry service for 40 years. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Senior Citizens, Keep Young Club and TOPS Club.
She is survived by one sister and two brothers, Nellie M. WYSE and George EVANS, both of Santa Barbara, Calif., and William C. EVANS of Lakeland, Minn.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
