A memorial service for William Thomas "Bill" SPLETTER, 27, of Lakewood, Colo., former Fairfield resident, who died Sunday, April 17, 1994, near Council Bluffs, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. John Meyer officiating. The body was cremated and burial of ashes will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials have been established to First Lutheran Church in Fairfield and American Cancer Society.
SPLETTER was born Jan. 17, 1967, in Chicago, the son of Robert and Suzanne GUERRIERO SPLETTER. He grew up in Fairfield, graduating from Fairfield High School in 1986. He joined the National Guard in Fairfield and after graduation joined the U.S. Army. He was stationed in West Germany and served in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm. He was a security guard in Colorado, and was a member of First Lutheran Church in Fairfield.
Surviving are a sister, Angie SPLETTER of Fairfield; his grandparents, Evelyn and Robert H. NELSON of Fairfield; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
