Earl L. ELKINS, 43, of Rice, Minn., died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at home.
A funeral is at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids, Minn., with the Rev. Ben Kociemba officiating. Burial wil be at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Sartell, Minn.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. ELKINS was born Feb. 9, 1969, in Coos Bay, Ore., the son of Gary and Charlene GOBBLE ELKINS.
He grew up in Fairfield.
He spent most of his life in the Sartell/Rice, Min., area.
He was an evening distributor for Gannett Publications in Maple Grove, Minn., where he took a lot of pride in his work.
He enjoyed fishing, vacations and spending time with his children.
Survivors include his significant other of 24 years, Bonnie BERNICK of Rice; six children, Erin ELKINS of Sauk Rapids, Zachary, Katie, and Nathan ELKINS all of Rice, John BERNICK of Sartell, and Melissa BERNICK of St. Cloud, Minn.; his mother, Charlene ELKINS of Fairfield; and one sister, Marsha ELKINS of Fairfield.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
