Richard DURFLINGER

Richard DURFLINGER, 90, of Eldon, died at 10:35 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Hospice House in Ottumwa.

Arrangements are pending at Grace Funeral Care in Eldon.

Richard's obituary on the Grace Funeral Care website provides the following: He was born in Wapello County November 2, 1922, the son of Charles and Lula McCARROLL DURFLINGER. He married Mary HUNTER in MO in 1941 and she died in 1999. They had four sons, Eugene, Terry (Patti), Stephen (Janice) and Tom (Denise), 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He had three sisters, Madeline WYMORE, Dorothy PHILLIPS and Ruth BLACK. He was also preceded in death by one great granddaughter, Alyssa. Memorials to Eldon Christian Church. Burial was in Sioc Cemetery in Wapello County, IA.
