Rites for C. A. HANEY

Carroll A. HANEY, 80, Libertyville, died Saturday at 2:45 p.m. at Parkview Care Center where he became a resident April 14.

The service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. John Wilken officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.

The son of John Wesley and Laura WOODSIDE HANEY, he was born April 9, 1900 in Fairfield. The family has lived on the same farm since 1909.

He married Margaret ELDER Jan. 25, 1922 in Fairfield. He was a retired farmer, a veteran of World War I, a member and past post commander of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Marilyn STONE' Fairfield, one son, John HANEY, Libertyville, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one sister, Nellie FICKEL of LaMesa, Calif.

He was preceded in death by two sons, one grandson, one sister and one half brother.

Our sincere thanks to friends, neighbors, and everyone for their kindness and sympathy during our sorrow. Also, for the cards, flowers, memorials, food, and money. It will never be forgotten. Thanks to Parkview Care Center, Jefferson Co. Hospital, nurses, and nurses aides for their good care. Special thanks to Dr. Egli, Rev. Wilkens, and Raymond Funeral Home. God Bless You All.
