Rex STEELE rite Saturday

LOCKRIDGE - Rex STEELE, 45, of rural Lockridge died Wednesday, June 22, 1988, at 7:45 a.m. at University Hospitals in Iowa City. He was born Nov. 3, 1942, in Libertyville, the son of William N. and Agnes WOODBURN STEELE.

He attended the Jefferson County schools. He lived his entire life in Jefferson County engaged in farming with his parents.

He is survived by his parents; one sister, Judy MOTE, Belton, Mo.; three brothers: Gary, Renwick; Jerry, Lockridge; and Terry, Fairfield; several nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Lenwood Monte officating. Burial will be in the Packwood Cemetery at Packwood. The family will receive friends and relatives Friday from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the Fairfield Special Olympics for the handicapped.
