Glenn Dale ARNOLD

Glenn Dale ARNOLD, 72, 1101 Wedgewood Circle, died at 2:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at Parkview Care Center.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home with Carl Wilhoit officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Lord's Cupboard.

Mr. ARNOLD was born Feb. 4, 1927, in Douds, the son of Charles D. and Reva HULL ARNOLD. He married Darlene "Dolly" Myrle DOOLEY June 25, 1950, in LaPlata, Mo. She died April 30, 1987.

Mr. ARNOLD lived all of his life in Van Buren and Jefferson counties. He was educated in the Douds community and graduated from Douds High School in 1944. He attended and graduated from American Institute of Business in Ottumwa.

He owned Fairfield Livestock Commission before his retirement. He was past president of Iowa Livestock Auction Markets Association from 1973-1975.

He was affiliated with Douds United Methodist Church. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include two brothers, Lloyd ARNOLD of Wyoming, Del., and Donald C. ARNOLD of Fairfield; and one sister, Marlene OVERTURF of Bixby, Okla.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
