Paul Lavern McMANN

Paul Lavern McMANN, 77, formerly of Fairfield, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk.

A private graveside service will be at a later date.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home & Crematory in Fairfield. His body will be cremated.

Memorials may be made to the family and sent to, 301 Iowa Ave. Fairfield 52556.

Mr. McMANN was born April 16, 1935, Brownsville, Neb., the son of Carl Boyd and Janie CARR McMANN. He married Frances ELLIS Sept. 29, 1960 in Fairfield. They later divorced.

He lived the past16 (sic) years in Kahoka, Mo. He previously lived in Fairfield.

He had worked for Iowa Malleable in the foundry for 20 years until it closed, then he worked in the foundry at Falco until his retirement.

His hobbies and interests included collecting John Deere tractors, watching John Wayne movies and talking with family and friends.

He was a member of Kahoka Lions Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathy WINKELMAN and spouse Eric of Fairfield and Mary McMANN and Meagan SMITH of St. Paul Minn.; siblings Billie McMANN of Kahoka and Darrell McMANN of Kirksville, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by, his parents and one brother, Lowell McMANN.
