Janice DRISH DAVIDSON, 51, of Pleasant Hill, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at home.

Arrangements are pending at Caldwell-Raddatz Funeral Home & Crematory in Urbandale.

Janice Kay DAVIDSON

Janice Kay DAVIDSON of Des Moines, age 51 went to be with the Lord on January 24, 2013.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 29 at Woodland Hills Church of Christ, 2484 SE 68th St. Des Moines.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, January 27 with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, East Pleasant Plains (sic), IA, north of Fairfield.

A second visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 28 at Woodland Hills Church of Christ. Burial will be at Rising Sun Cemetery, Des Moines.

Janice loved spending time with her family, gardening, camping, and volunteering for her church as well as for Hope Ministries.

Janice was a devoted wife to Bruce and a beloved mother and friend to Nichole & Shawn DAVIDSON, as well as her four-legged son Rascal.

She is survived by her parents, Leonard & Mary Ann DRISH; siblings, Denny & Linda DRISH, Jeff DRISH and friend Nancy, Phil & Tami DRISH, Roger & Corrie DRISH, Ron & Diana DRISH, Deb & Dave SCHWARTZENDRUBER, and Cyndi & John REDLINGER. She was also a loving daughter-in-law to Don and Sandra DAVIDSON, a sister-in-law to Cathy DAVIDSON, Pamela DAVIDSON, Mike & Sheena DAVIDSON, and Brad & Amy DAVIDSON, and mother-in-law to Samantha DAVIDSON & Merlen FRY; 2 grandchildren, and 30 nieces and nephews.

Janice was, and continues to be, an inspiration to all and we cherish the time we all had with her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be left to Susan B. Komen Foundation or a memorial for the fairgrounds.
