Odo B. HOTCHKIN, 72, 1103 W. Hempstead, died at 6:45 p.m. Monday at the Jefferson County Hospital.
Services for Odo B. HOTCHKIN will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. William Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Odo B. HOTCHKIN was born Nov. 18, 1909, in Poweshiek County. He was the son of William and Mary Ellen DEMPSEY HOTCHKIN. He was reared and educated in Grinell and the family moved to Fairfield in 1936. He was employed at the Fairfield Glove Co. for 45 years before his retirement.
His marriage to Bernice HALSTEAD took place Nov. 23, 1932, in Davenport. She survives. HOTCHKIN was a member of the Catholic Church.
In addition to his widow, HOTCHKIN is survived by three sons and a daughter: Larry, Weaver; Lynton and Randal, both of Dubuque; and Dee CRANDALL, Fairfield.
He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and a sister, Irene DEVEREUX, Adair.
