Earl E. HOLM Taken In Death

Earl E. HOLM, 79, longtime Jefferson County farmer, died at 5:15 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital. He had been in failing health the past year and seriously ill the past 10 days.

Last rites will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Earl E. HOLM was born June 9, 1893, at Frankville, the son of Martin and Hattie B. RICHARDSON HOLM. He was married Dec. 24, 1913, to Ethel LONG who survives.

For the past 50 years he had lived on his farm three miles southeast of Fairfield. HOLM was a member of the Bethesda United Church, and a 54-year member of Clinton Lodge No. 15, AF and AM.

In addition to his wife, HOLM is survived by one son, Harley HOLM, Stockport; three grandchildren; along with one sister, Mrs. Mabel MERRILL, Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.
