Wilbur 'Ziggy' ZIEGLOWSKY

Wilbur "Ziggy" ZIEGLOWSKY, 90, formerly of Richland, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at Mount Olympus Care Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Arrangements are pending at Gould Funeral Home in Richland.

Wilbur M. 'Ziggy' ZIEGLOWSKY

Wilbur M. "Ziggy" ZIEGLOWSKY, 90, formerly of Richland, died Wednesday Jan. 16, 2013, at Mount Olympus Care Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Gould Funeral Home in Richland with the Rev. Carl Benge officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington, Iowa.

Family will greet friends before the funeral, 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

A memorial has been established and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 4765 Pace Drive, Park City, Utah 84098.

Mr. ZIEGLOWSKY was born Sept. 30, 1922, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Charles William Albert and Mildred Blanch DEAL ZIEGLOWSKY. He married Mae Louise BRUEGGE July 26, 1946, in Columbus, Kan. She died Aug. 26, 1997.

He retired as the service manager of a Culligan Water Conditioning company in Anaheim, Calif., where he had worked for more than 40 years.

He also had managed an auto garage in Washington, farmed and raised hogs, owned and operated a plumbing business in Branson, Mo., and Kansas City, Mo., and in Sand Springs, Okla.

He and his wife moved to Richland where they lived until he moved to California in 2004 and later to Utah.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Philippines during World War II.

Survivors include two sons, David ZIEGLOWSKY and spouse Barbara of Ontario, Calif., and Terry ZIEGLOWSKY and spouse Mara of Park City, Utah; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Ethel EICHELBERGER and Virginia CAPPS; and three brothers, Cloyce, Clarence and twin brother Wilmer.
