Rosemary Jeanette TERRELL

Rosemary Jeanette TERRELL, 77, of Keosauqua,died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

A memorial service is at 10 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Linn Garrison officiating.

The body has been cremated. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Memorials may be made to Hospice Care Services of Southeast Iowa, Mount Pleasant, or United Methodist Women of Lebanon.

Mrs. TERRELL was born March 25, 1935, in Fairfield, the daughter of Elmer and Gleda BRADFIELD HIXSON. She married Timothy John TERRELL II, July 10, 1955, in Packwood.

She was in nursing for 42 years and retired from The Dexter Company in 1997.

She was a member of Eastern Star in Batavia and Packwood.

She belonged to United Methodist Women in Lebanon.

Survivors include her husband, Tim TERRELL II of Keosauqua; five children, Becky TERRELL and spouse Brian POOLE of Birmingham, Pamela TERRELL of Des Moines, Tim TERRELL III and spouse Keeta of Fairfield, Dan TERRELL and spouse Evie of Warsaw, Ill., and Mary Ann SMITH of Unionville, Mo.; 26 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Bill HIXSON of Ottumwa and Sue VANNOY of Keosauqua.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
