Helen Marie HOTLE

Helen Marie HOTLE, 86, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at the Jefferson County Health Center.

A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the First Churc hof the Nazarene, with the Rev. Howard Innis officiating. The body will be cremated, and a private burial of the cremains will be at a later date in the Friends Cemetery in Richland.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Cards and memorials can be sent to Deanna LANE, 305 E. Jefferson Ave., Fairfield 52556.

Ms. HOTLE was born March 4, 1926, in Richland, the daughter of Leo and Leona FREDRICK OSWALT. She married Walter "Shorty" Jr. HOTLE in November of 1942 in Kahoka, Mo. They later divorced. Mr. HOTLE died April 20, 1993.

Ms. HOTLE was a factory worker, caretaker and self-employed. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include four children, Sandra HOUGET and husband Dean of Mount Pleasant, Deanna LANE and spouse Jim of Fairfield, Bob HOTLE and spouse Mary of Kenosha, Wis., and Rebecca VOGT and husband Bob of Richland; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Pauline WARD.
