Mary Jane BRAND

Mary Jane BRAND, 96, of Parkview Care Center, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000, at the center.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Bill Stevens officiating. Burial will be at Paris Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Paris, Ill. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's. Behner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. BRAND was born Aug. 11, 1903, in Terre Haute, Ind., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar BURKE. She married Walter BRAND Dec. 24, 1924, in Brazil, Ind. He died Oct. 18, 1973.

Mrs. BRAND was raised by Onie JAMES and his wife. She lived in the Paris area for several years before moving to the Fairfield area in July 1969. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, Jerry BRAND of Pittsburg, Pa.; one daughter, Betty BRANAM of Fairfield; and several grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dee and Peggy; three brothers, Raymond, Lloyd and Aussie; one half-brother, Lawrence; and one half-sister, Violet.
