Paul Allen BABCOCK

Paul Allen Babcock, 54, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, April 15, 1998, at Slidell, La., while en route from Pensacola, Fla., to Fairfield.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Gary Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Mills Cemetery in Oakland Mills. The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.

Mr. BABCOCK was born March 1, 1944, in Fairfield, the son of G. Herbert and Edith P. OLSON BABCOCK.

He lived his entire life in the Fairfield community. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1962. He was retired from the Dexter Company where he had been a welder. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include three sons, Mark of Corpus Christi, Texas, Carl of Fairfield and Tim of Bonaparte; one daughter, Paula of Fairfield; two grandchildren; one sister, Delores INGLE of Ollie; and one brother, George of Pensacola.

Preceding him in death were his parents.
