Edward Eugene ROUSH, 68, Batavia, died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 1998, at the Jefferson County Hospital.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Parker officiating. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Mr. ROUSH was born June 11, 1929, in Jefferson County, the son of Louis Melvin and Dora WOODS ROUSH Jr. He lived most of his life in the Des Moines area. He was employed as a cook for several restaurants. He lived in Batavia for the past 1 1/2 years. He was divorced.

Survivors include one daughter, Charlotte CLARKE of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Louis Melvin Jr.
