Carole Ann PRUDEN, age 68, formerly of Fairfield passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 at her home in Altoona.

Carole Ann PRUDEN

Carole Ann PRUDEN, 68, of Altoona, formerly of Fairfield, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at home.

A funeral is at 10 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends is 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Iowa Health Hospice of Des Moines. Cards and memorials may be sent to Quentin PRUDEN, 207 25th Ave. S.W., Altoona 50009.

Mrs. PRUDEN was born Aug. 30, 1944, in Keosauqua, the daughter of Russell Jacob and Esther Kathleen BENNETT SEDORE. She married Quentin PRUDEN May 17, 1974, in Scotland County, Mo.

She lived most of her life in Fairfield and moved to Altoona two years ago.

She worked at Harper Brush Works for 32 years.

She enjoyed bowling.

Survivors include her mother, Esther SEDORE of Bentonsport; three children, Misty HAYDT and spouse Walter of Des Moines, Anthony PRUDEN and Jamie XAYAVONG, both of Pleasant Hill; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and 12 siblings: Nancy LAWERANCE, Susan PARRISH, David SEDORE, William SEDORE, Linda HERMESTON, Phyllis MITCHELL, Cindy KISLING, Candy HORSTMANN, Lloyd SEDORE, Lyle SEDORE, Peggy TROUTMAN and John SEDORE.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell SEDORE and three brothers, Robert SEDORE, Harold "Pete" SEDORE and Monty "Joe" SEDORE.
