Angela Marie HARRISON, 18, of Washington, Iowa, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, from injuries in an automobile accident.
A celebration of life service is at 1 p.m. Thursday at Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Ed Parker officiating. Interment will be at Fell Cemetery in Libertyville.
Visitation is today at the funeral home with the family receiving friends 6-8 p.m. Memorials have been established for Paws and More Animal Shelter in Washington.

Ms. HARRISON was born Oct. 2, 1994, in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of David and Dixie MANLEY HARRISON.
She attended school in Fairfield and recently in Washington, Iowa. She graduated from Washington High School in 2012.
She lived in Washington for the past four years and lived the majority of her life in Fairfield.
She was employeed at Pioneer Park Nursing Home in Lone Tree.
She enjoyed volunteering at Paws and More Animal Shelter.
She loved horses, reading and playing games with her family.
She attended Suburban Heights Baptist Church in Fairfield.
Survivors include her parents, David and Dixie HARRISON of Washington, Iowa; one brother, Joshua HARRISON of Washington; one sister, Sapphire HARRISON of Washington; maternal grandmother, Helen MANLEY of Fairfield; and paternal grandmother, Dixie HARRISON of Omaha.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Loran MANLEY, and her paternal grandfather, Donald HARRISON.

Iowa State Patrol reports a fatality at 5:33 a.m. Sunday at the junction of Highway 22 and Utah Avenue in Johnson County. Angela Marie HARRISON, 18, of Washington, was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Aveo east on Highway 22, and crossed the center line, colliding head-on with Melvin Herbert Hintze, 59, of Grand Mound, driving a 2002 Fort Ranger Pickup truck. Both vehicles came to rest on the road. HARRISON was wearing a seatbelt and transported to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She died. Hintze and his passenger, Melvin Leonard Hintze, 35, of Davenport, were both wearing seatbelts and were taken by ambulance to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics with non-life threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
