Nancy Lee BUCKINGHAM, 62, of 50 N. Morgan St., died at 8:10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2001 at Jefferson County Hospital.
A graveside service was held this morning at Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Traverce Harrison and the Rev. Joshua Martin officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jefferson County Hospice. Behner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born June 12, 1939, in Fairfield, the daughter of Carl I. and Frances F. HICKENBOTTOM MARTIN.
She has lived in Springfield, Mo., for 22 years, where she had owned and managed the Words On Time business. She had resided with her mother the last three months in Fairfield.
She was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church in Springfield and was affiliated with First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Fairfield.
Survivors include her mother; three daughters, Jaclyn GANSEN of Long Beach, Calif., Laura BUCKINGHAM of Springfield and Lois MELBOURNE of Irving, Texas; two sons, Clark BUCKINGHAM of Wellsburg and Carl BUCKINGHAM of Springfield; two brothers, John C. MARTIN of Milan, Ill., and Dean MARTIN of Saudi Arabia; and three stepsisters, Janet ROBERTS and Marilyn TURNER, both of Fairfield, and Carolyn WELLINGS of Oskaloosa.
She was preceded in death by her father; one infant son, Frank Jr.; one stepdaughter, Joyce JONES; and step-father, Paul KITCHEN.
