Monday, October 27, 1980V. SAMMONS dies at 75
Verle SAMMONS, 75, Horsebend (sic - Horseshoe Bend), Ark., died Saturday at a hospital in Salem, Ark.
A graduate of Fairfield High School, he was a former employee of Gobble's Clothiers.
The service will be Tuesday at Horseshoe Bend.
He is survived by his wife, the former Dorothy HICKENBOTTOM, two daughters, Marilyn YEAGER, Ankeny, and Delores JORDAN, Wichita, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
The family reside in Davenport for many years when SAMMONS was a salesman.
Friends may address Mrs. SAMMONS: 1232 Northbridge Circle, Horsebend (sic - Horseshoe Bend), Ark.
