Stanley L. WORKMAN, 86, 809 E. Burlington, died Tuesday, 5:50 p.m., at Jefferson County Hospital.
Funeral services will be Friday, 2 p.m. at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, 7 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
WORKMAN was born Feb. 2, 1894 in Van Buren County near Winchester, the son of George and Orilla WARNER WORKMAN. On June 18, 1919 he married Eunice LEE in Webster City. She died Dec. 20, 1966. On Dec. 3, 1967 he married Gladys FULTON COOP. He farmed in Van Buren and Jefferson counties, was a WWI veteran and a member of First United Methodist Church and VFW.
Surviving are his wife; three stepchildren, Kathryn POTTORFF, Owatonna, Minn., Kenneth COOP, Los Alamos, N.M., Richard COOP, Des Moines; seven stepgrandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

Admin. note: Buried in Lot 3rd.102½ with his first wife Eunice. Second wife Gladys died in 1986 and is buried with her first husband Roy COOP in Lot 3rd.158, also in Evergreen Cemetery.
