Lloyd GREENFIELD dies at 75

C. Lloyd GREENFIELD, 75, of the Libertyville area, died at 6:20 p.m. Thursday in the home of his daughter, Rosetta PARCELL, 600 S. Fourth.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Norman Rasmussen and Pastor Joseph Twing officiating. Burial will be in Pittsburg Cemetery (note: Van Buren Co., IA). Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to the Seventh-day Adventist church and to the American Cancer Society.

GREENFIELD was born Dec. 10, 1906 in Jefferson County, the son of Charles E. and Margaret RUDOLPH GREENFIELD. On Sept. 15, 1928 he married Lela C. CHANNEL at Fairfield. A farmer, he had lived in the Birmingham and Libertyville communities all of his life and was a 1923 graduate of Birmingham High School. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist church.

Surviving are his wife; his daughter, Mrs. PARCELL; two sons, Charles L. GREENFIELD of Saudi, Arabia and Donnel E. of Yucaipa, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one brother, Joe GREENFIELD of Birmingham. His parents, one brother and one sister preceded him in death.
