Hardin W. FARMER, 87, native of Fairfield and a former longtime employee at the telephone company in Fairfield, died Sunday at Doctor's Hospital in Lake Worth, Fla.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Earl Smith and Son Funeral Home, East Chapel, in Lake Worth. The Rev. Paul F. Arnold and the Rev. Caryl Benson will officiate.
Before moving to Florida Farmer had been employed at the United Telephone Co. in Fairfield for 16 years. He was a veteran of World War I, he was a member of the VFW, Elks and First Evangelican Lutheran Church in West Palm Beach.
Hardin W. FARMER was born Nov. 17, 1894, in Fairfield, the son of James F. and Elizabeth ROGERS FARMER. He was married Aug. 21, 1923, to Dessie ANDERSON who survives. The family home is located at 235 19th Avenue North, Lake Worth, Fla.
Other survivors include three sisters, Ida GREEN, Sheridan, Wyo.; Ina FARMER and Elizabeth FARMER, both of Fairfield.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
