Wanda L. WARNER

Wanda L. WARNER, 73, of rural Keosauqua died at 7:55 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Wanda L. WARNER

Wanda L. WARNER, 73, of rural Keosauqua, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A funeral is at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with Larry Shipley officiating.

An open visitation began at 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with family present 6-8 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the family. Memorials and cards may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at P.O. Box 280, Keosauqua 52565.

Mrs. WARNER was born March 8, 1939, in Richland, the daughter of Carl and Elsie JOHNSON DEUSER. She married David WARNER Jr. Sept. 21, 1958, in Birmingham. He died May 18, 1988.

Mrs. WARNER graduated from Birmingham High School.

She worked at Center Village Care Center in Keosauqua for many years. She lived in the Bentonsport-Bonaparte area.

She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

She loved nature and enjoyed feeding goldfinches and hummingbirds and hunting arrowheads.

She also enjoyed reading and doing puzzles when the weather kept her inside.

Survivors include three sons, David WARNER II and spouse Dawn, Tim WARNER and Dusty WARNER and spouse Kathy, all of Keosauqua; one daughter, Mary Lou WARNER and spouse Erin of Des Moines; one brother Willis DEUSER of Fairfield; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Warren DEUSER.
