Lloyd E. HESTON

Lloyd Elbert HESTON, 85, former Fairfield and Libertyville area resident, died at 2:15 a.m. today at Pleasant Manor Care Center in Mt. Pleasant.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Fell Cemetery at Libertyville. Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the activity fund of Pleasant Manor Care Center.

HESTON was born March 5, 1897 northwest of Libertyville, the son of Charles Albert and Louise McCLEARY HESTON. On Jan. 28, 1920 in Fairfield, he married Nellie MORRIS, who died Dec. 20, 1973. A retired farmer, he was a WWI Army veteran and a member of the American Legion.

Surviving are three daughters, Vivian WATSON of Fairfield, Joyce VORHIES of Birmingham, Joan SHAFER of Mt. Pleasant; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
