Martha Christine HOOVER

Martha Christine HOOVER, 80, of San Carlos, Calif., formerly of Lockridge, died at home after a brief illness.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. HOOVER was born June 10, 1932, in Lockridge. She married Tom HOOVER in 1951.

Mrs. HOOVER graduated from Lockridge High School in 1950.

She was an animal lover and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Teresa and husband James; two sisters, Mary Jo BELL of Canyonville, Ore., and Ruth DeGRANGE of Burlington; and one granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Christine; and two sisters.
