Minnie LESHER dies at 101

Minnie E. LESHER, mother of Mazie MESSER of Fairfield, died Monday at the home of her son, Harold LESHER, in Arcadia, Calif. She was 101.

Mrs. LESHER was a former Jefferson County resident. Funeral services were held Thursday at Lambs Mortuary in Arcadia. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Cavalier, N. D.

Mrs. LESHER was married to George M. LESHER March 27, 1907. He preceded his wife in death Dec. 16, 1918.

Other surviving children include Mary MESSER, Washington, Iowa; George LESHER, Santa Maria, Calif.; and Margaret HAMEL, Yorba Linda, Calif. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchidlren and 20 great-great-grandchildren, one sister and one brother are deceased.

During her long life, Mrs. LESHER was a member of the church of God of Salina, the Zion Lutheran Church of Cavalier, N. D., the First Lutheran Church of Fairfield and a charter member of the Bethel Lutheran Church of Santa Maria, Calif.
