Tuesday, February 19, 1985A. A. PECK dies at 80
Ambrose A. (Bud) PECK, 80, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday at Parkview Care Center, where he had been a patient since the fall of 1980.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. William Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 tonight. A memorial has been established for Masses.
PECK was born March 4, 1904 at Pleasant Plain, the son of Adam and Mary PACHA PECK. He spent his entire life in Jefferson County, moving to Fairfield in 1927. On Feb. 5, 1927 he married Mary OLIVER at St. Mary Church, Fairfield. He retired in 1969 from Dexter Company where he had worked for 42 years.
Surviving are a son, Harry of Valley Station, Ky.; two daughters, Cathleen PECK of Tustin, Calif., Colleen GIPE of Malvern; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. His wife, parents, six brothers, a daughter and a son preceded him in death.
He was a member of St. Mary Church and Eagles Lodge (sic - Aerie/Club).
