Margaret De LASHMUTT

Margaret De LASHMUTT, 86, of Parkview Care Center, died at 11:15 a.m. Monday, March 21, 1994, at the care center.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Royar officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Open visitation begins Wednesday morning at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to First United Methodist Church and Parkview Care Center Activity Fund.

Mrs. De LASHMUTT was born March 31, 1907, at Hastings, Neb., the daughter of William A. and Perditta L. GREEN CHARLTON. She grew up in Fairfield and graduated from Parsons College. On Oct. 10, 1939, she married Orvis H. De LASHMUTT in the Little Brown Church at Nashua. He died June 25, 1969. She taught school for several years and was home economist for Peter Pan Bakery in Davenport for three years. A resident of Jefferson County most of her life, she was a member of First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Chapter E, TTT, the Fairfield chapter of Daughters of American Colonists, and Chapter C, PEO.

She is survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. A brother, Arvid, preceded her in death.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 28TH DAY OF MARCH 1994, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF MARGARET C. DELASHMUTT, DECEASED, BEARING DATE OF THE 29TH DAY OF APRIL, 1987, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT ARTHOR WORLEY & MARJORIE WORLEY WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF THE ESTATE. ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE THE WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN THE LATER TO OCCUR OF FOUR MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE OR ONE MONTH FROM THE DATE OF MAILING OF THIS NOTICE TO ALL HEIRS OF THE DECEDENT AND DEVISEES UNDER THE WILL WHOSE IDENTITIES ARE REASONABLE ASCERTAINABLE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
