(Note: This is one of a number of items dealing with different people in the same column. Kizia [on her gravestone], a/k/a Keziah, died April 7, 1894, aged 74 years. Her maiden name was BELL according to husband John's obituary. They are buried in the Upper Richwoods Cemetery.)

On December 3, 2012, Jane Worley Knapp asked that the following note be added:

Keziah Charlton died Apr. 7, 1894 according to the Upper Richwoods Cemetery records and the date on her headstone.

The 1879 History of Jefferson County states that Keziah Bell Charlton was born in Bedford, Penn., Aug. 6, 1818. The Census records for 1856 (she was 37) and 1885 (she was 66) indicate that the year of Keziah's birth was 1818, since her birthday if assumed to be Aug. 6 was after the dates in which the census records were recorded.

Her funeral card stated that she was 75+ years of age at death; she would have been 76 later that year assuming her birth date of Aug. 6 thus born in 1818. Conflicting is the age of 74 years inscribed on her headstone.
