Illness Fatal To Mrs. MOUGIN, 53

Mrs. John MOUGIN, 53, 807 S. Third St., died at 12:35 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital after a week's serious illness. She had been in failing health for several months.

Services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in charge of the Rev. Fr. Cletus Madsen. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery at Riverside (sic - Washington Co., IA). Prayers for a Christian Wake will be recited Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home.

Mrs. MOUGIN was the former Bernadette KNEBEL. She was born March 5, 1915 at Riverside, the daughter of Linus and Adeline BEATCH KNEBEL. She was married to John MOUGIN April 21, 1936. She was a member of St. Mary Church.

Surviving are her husband, five sons and four daughters: Melvin, Torrance, Calif.; Louis, LaCrosse (sic - La Crosse), Wis.; Clarence, Madison, Wis.; Joseph and Robert, both at home; Mrs. Jeanette LIVERMORE, Minneapolis, Minn.; Anna Marie, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Rita LOVING, Iowa City; and Mary Ellen, at home.

Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and five brothers: Melvin, John and Andrew, all of Riverside; and Guy and Wilfred, both of Boulder, Colo.
