Doris June BALLEW WYATT

Doris June BALLEW WYATT, 66, of 804 W. Hempstead Ave., died at 11:05 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 1998, at Jefferson County Hospital.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Nick Powell officiating. Cremation will follow. Inurnment will be at a later date at Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Family visitation will be 6:30-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the family.

Mrs. WYATT was born June 14, 1931, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Howard and Maisie PARDUN MILLHOUSE. She married Ralph GARNER in 1952. He died April 1957. She married Raymond BALLEW in 1960. He died October 1985. She married John WYATT in 1993.

Mrs. WYATT lived in Fairfield community for 20 years. She previously lived in the Ottumwa area. She was dietary assistant at Nelson Nursing Home, Stever House and private home health care in Fairfield.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, David and Dennis BALLEW, both of Fairfield, and Jerry BALLEW of Des Moines; three daughters, Rene CARLSON of Fairfield, Linda SCHMIDT of Libertyville and Patricia FESLER of Ottumwa; four stepsons, Jeff and Bill WYATT, both of Fairfield, and Kevin WYATT of Birmingham; two stepdaugthers, Rosemary HUGHES and Joanne BALLEW, both of Houston; 14 grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; one great-grandchild; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marcella DYE of Eldon and Genieve KNOTT of Maurayville, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; an infant daughter, Tina; and one brother, Robert MILLHOUSE.
