Mary Leonilda BELTRAMEA

Mary Leonilda BELTRAMEA, 88, of Rochelle, Ill., and formerly of Fairfield died at 6:45 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2000, at a hospital in Dixon, Ill.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle. The casket will be brought to Raymond Funeral Home for visitation from 8-9:30 a.m. Monday, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Stephen Page officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. A memorial has been established, or contributions may be given to Mass stipends.

Mrs. BELTRAMEA was born Jan. 12, 1912, in Toluca, Ill., the daughter of Luigi and Leondilda RICCI CAPPONI. She married John Stephen BELTRAMEA June 3, 1931, in Toluca. He died Feb. 26, 1982.

Mrs. BELTRAMEA and her husband moved to Fairfield in 1950. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Altar and Rosary Society. She was active in the 4-H program.

She moved to Rochelle in 1990, where she was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Survivors include four sons, Joseph BELTRAMEA of Metamora, Ill., John BELTRAMEA of Springfield, Ill., and Ray and Marion BELTRAMEA, both of Cedar Rapids; three daughter, Lea RISING of Stillman Valley, Ill., Marlene DEUTSCH of Rochelle and Clare KLENKE of Rockford, Ill.; one brother, Angelo CAPPONI of Bloomington, Ill.; two sisters, Lucy DITTLE of Ogelsby, Ill., and Letha PERINELLO of Las Vegas, Nev.; 24 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
