Tuesday, September 6, 1977Death Takes Robert GEORGE
Word has been received here of the death of Robert GEORGE, former resident of Fairfield and former purchasing agent at Parsons College before the school closed.
He died Tuesday night at Winside, Neb.
Memorial services will be conducted Friday at the First Christian Church in Norfolk, Neb., and last rites and burial will take place Saturday at Lincoln, Neb.
The family lived in Fairfield for about 3 years and made their home at 302 W. Merrill. GEORGE's wife, Mary Lou, taught in the Fairfield schools while living in this community.
In addition to his widow, GEORGE is survived by five children, two of them married and three still at home.
