Frank R. "Bud" Giberson, 85, of Agency died at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, with the Rev. Gordon Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in Agency Cemetery in Agency.

Visitation began after 11 a.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 7-8:30 p.m.

Mr. Giberson was born April 15, 1918, in West Point, the son of Harley H. and Della Nugen Giberson. He married Mary Holton in 1942. She preceded him in death. He married Maxine Evans June 25, 1955. She preceded him in death Jan. 12, 1997.

A resident of Agency since 1955, he worked at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant in Middletown and for 20 years at John Morrell and Co., retiring in 1973.

Surviving are two sons, Lonnie and Ronald Giberson both of Agency; one daughter, Toni Douthart of Floris; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Emma Mae Hill of Fairfield.

He is preceded in death by one grandson; two sisters, Isabelle Lindbom and Maxine McManus; and two brothers, Guy and Billy Giberson.
